The story of "Nanso Satomi Hakkenden" was widely popularized through kabuki performances and other means, and Hakkenden also found its way into the lives of ordinary people in a variety of ways. It was also very popular in the world of games such as kites and Sugoroku.
This exhibition displays Sugoroku and toy pictures related to Hakkenden from the collection of Tateyama City Museum. Please enjoy the various types of Sugoroku, some depicting the events of the story and others depicting only the characters.
