The "Ichihara City Musik Friendship Association" was formed in December 1991, with the idea of inviting not only choirs but also orchestras from a wide range of amateurs and professionals alike to participate in the "First Citizens' Concert". Orchestra" and "Ichihara Musikyu-kyokai Chorus", and have held a citizens' concert every December since then.
